The Bikist Online Cycle Store is a joint venture between CycleCrazy.co.uk and BikePlus Limited, part of Geoffrey Butler Cycles Limited.
Carriage and Post Charges.
All products that are in stock are usually shipped on the day you order. You can pay by Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) or Switch and Delta via our secure SSL encrypted order page. Orders over £50.00 are post free unless stated (such as heavier items that need to go by the Parcel Force). On orders under £50.00, postage is £3.50 and will be added automatically at the checkout. Overseas orders are charged at a different rate and although this will not show at the checkout, you will be e-mailed with the full price before despatch as confirmation. All Prices and specifications are subject to change.
As with most mail order retailers, the post office calculate our postage charge at an average weight so in effect the lighter parcels naturally subsidise the heavier ones. This does of course enable us to stock a much larger variety of products as we are not limited to light items. However, we are still very competitive when compared with other similar retailers.
When the order is sent to an address other than the card holders address it will not be covered by the Bike Plus in the event that it does not arrive. If sent to your place of work please inform the relevant department that will receive the parcel - since, although we have never completely lost a parcel, it has been known for the odd parcel to arrive only then get lost internally, with the result that the customer then chases us.
Overseas Orders.

Carriage for overseas orders is charged at a different rate and although this will not show at the checkout, you will be e-mailed with the full price before despatch as confirmation. All Prices and specifications are subject to change.
For all international orders, for your added protection, the credit/payment card companies now often do an in depth security check before authorisation. Please include your DAY TIME telephone number and when you will be available so that we can speak to you and the credit card company at the same time, if this should be required.
Returns and Refunds.
BikePlus Limited will normally accept returned orders up to 14 days from the date of purchase, where products are found to be unsuitable. The goods must still be in their original packing and be undamaged.
Include a brief note when you return the goods, detailing the problem. Please include your full address and postcode together with both your payment card and till receipts

Please use a recorded method of shipping to ensure your goods do not get lost in transit. It is the customer's responsibility to return the goods in undamaged condition to us. Make sure you take out adequate insurance cover for the shipment because we cannot compensate you should the parcel get lost!
Faulty goods covered by warranty which have been used will be repaired where possible or replaced where this is not a practical option. Postage is not refunded for warranty returns.
Returned faulty items which are new will be refunded or replaced as applicable
Postage for exchanges is charged at cost, this includes any items that were sent post free originally, for lightweight items this is £3.50, heavier or larger items will be £9.00
We do not refund your postage for items returned for refund, either what we charged orginally or the cost of returning the item.
When an item is returned as part of a carriage-free order for a refund we may deduct our postage charge since the order is in effect no longer carriage free.
Should a customer order numerous items that we consequently have to send Parcel Force due to the extra weight (£9.00 although post free to the customer), and then return several items for refund, we may also deduct the initial extra postage costs incurred by us, even if what has been retained would still normally qualify as carriage free (although still carriage free with the reduced weight and value the order would have only cost us £3.50 to send and not £9.00. We may therefore charge you the difference of £5.50. Many retailers would also deduct a handling charge although at the moment Bike Plus do not do this.
